Thing is, are they just ignorant that they bleed or... I would think that if that was the case, then they would be ignorant of blood, of what bleeding actually is, if that makes sense?
It reminds me of the time when I saw this white thing come out of plants and I didn't know it was sap, and that I had snapped it so that it would 'bleed' in that sense. Eh. o.O
