Saying that your heart is filled with rainbows? I don't think that fits the upwards description
Ghirahim was threatening throughout the game, but also had a funny line from the beginning. So when he said that line and others, it wasn't so weird.
Zant is all cool and mysterious and the camera zooms in on him with that scream whenever he appears... and then later on, you just wonder why you were somewhat intimidated by that guy earlier.
